Spreading One's Wings and Fly

First it was AJ's move from D.C. that I keep complaining about. Then the preparation of the house that he was supposed to stay. Our whole summer was just eaten up by these chores. No rest for the wicked.
Now it is James' turn. He leaves on Tuesday for France. Our whole abode has just been turned upside down for this next preparation. Cecil has been preparing his wardrobe & stuff. How many ramen noodles do we have to pack to satisfy his needs when there is no rice to calm his cravings?
He flies out of St. Louis Missouri on Tuesday at 3pm with a quick connection at Chicago then off he goes to Charles De Gaulle France airport. Is he scared? Doesn't look like it - more like giddy? excited?
Erich, who is in Beijing, was on Skype with the two boys. He gave them tips to live by ( more so like kalokohan i think). Jim & I are more of the scared parents. Kasannon nayen no mapukkaw isso na. Kassannon nayen no ma -kidnap ngata.
I think he will be alright. I think he will survive. I think ( heaven forbid) he will enjoy and have a good time.
That is a year without parental supervision. Kasannon aya? I go back to what AJ told us the very start of all of these growing up journeys -
Just trust the way you brought us up

Kasdiyay nga talaga itti biyag.
