Europe Trip

We are on our first leg of our Europe trip to visit James in France. First leg - Dublin, Ireland. The outbound flight was uneventful. AJ enjoyed his business class seat courtesy of Ramil.

Above is a picture of AJ & I downtown Dublin where the action takes place. The transport system is very efficient. No fights for parking spaces and no long lines for bus cues.

Next is the Trinity College - University of Ireland. Known characters like Oscar Wilde came from this school.
Next pic is my favorite place - Guinness. Bakit kaya? Their own beer is not what I expected. It was more of our light beer in Manila. Mas masarap pa rin ang San Miguel. ITO ANG BEER.

The only hassle we have encountered was the cancellation of our flight from Dublin to UK Birmingham. Nakaka-stress!!! We took the ferry from Dublin to the closest port hoping to get a rental car. As expected walang car na available since everybody were wanting cars!!!! We had to grab the last of the train tickets na standing room only. I've never ran so fast so far in my whole life to catch the train. Parang holocaust refugees kami. This time, Guinness beer would have been the best ever na maiinom (in the absence of the other choices).

Post Election Fever

The Philippines has a new president and a rehash of the old news as far as the senators and the congressmen/women are concerned. There was a variety of choices - from the cinema leading men with agimats to the boksingero to the pseudo intelektuals and the incorruptibles. We never run out of characters - ang problema nga lang ay kung manalo - paano na? sabi nga ni Dolphy.
We considered it progress since fully automated ang election for the first time - counterbalance nga lang ay manual counting. Kakaunti lang daw ang namatay compared to previous elections.
Mabilis lumabas ang resulta - tayo na andito sa ibang bansa ay fully updated at in the know sa mga nangyayari.
We all have our hopes pined na this could be our new tomorrow. This could be the start of the progress we have been waiting for. Sana nga.
I have been in heated argument with friends regarding the electionables.
Dapat ba na naka-confine ang power to lead and power to think sa iilan lamang?
We adhere so much to the osmosis and diffusion principle.
