Meet The Packers

OUR SPECIALTY: We pack and move sons to College, new jobs, new places, name it - we do it. Our years of experience say it all. We have been doing this job for over six years now. We will assist in neatly packing clothes and books. We even loan kitchen utensils, furnitures, washer and dryer. We do not require any deposits. We understand if these essentials never make it back to our house. We are very good with follow through. We will come and check your status after a couple of weeks ( maybe even days). If there is a problem with home cooked meals - we do provide.

Maybe we need to take up this other job - packing and moving. It is that time of the year again. This time, it is James that we have to move. He is an incoming Freshman at the University of Missouri Columbia. Kuya also goes to school there. We assumed the two will share the condominium during the school years. The plan was for James to just drive to and from school. Not much to move - we assumed (again).
We were wrong. Freshmen are not given any priority in parking areas. He would have to park and commute.
We ended up renting a studio 2 blocks from the school. So here we go again. AJ found a bed for the younger brother to use. Jim and I helped him get his stuff there before the start of school. Welcome to Walmart and Target. The linens, the shower curtain, those plastic containers and of course the laptops should not be forgotten.

The four of us were getting into each other's nerves. AJ had to be up at 4:am for his hospital rotations. We all have to hurry and make this room mimic some decent living quarters.

We made it through. I packed some food and equally divided these into containers to feed two people. Last minute "habilins" were given out. Finally, it was time to go. The packers would have to leave. The job was done. The follow through will be carried out soon.
